We don’t change just because we want to

or because others want us to

it is a much more organic process

one that takes time

self reflection

anaylysis of why we act/react the way we do.

it takes courage, time and thought to change

and no amount of forcing it or wanting will get you there faster.

like everything in life

experience is gained through doing

through life over time

and that experience is full of life lessons

that shape us

and help us see who we are

and who we wish to become

I can’t believe I used to starve myself

because hunger pain was so much better than pain you couldn’t explain

because being absent from life was so much better than feeling it, living it

so now

there is yoga and mediation

and vegetarianism

oh and gardening
